Length of cooking unit ( only 1 vehicle and cooking unit allowed.)

Additional optional Friday evening categories will be announced to all entrants by mail prior to the event. There will be minimal charge to enter the optional events. Contest will subscribe to KCBS rules and judging procedures.

A check for $200 dollars must accompany the form. Each paid entry will be allowed one entry in each category. Intention to submit additional entries must be recorded at time of check in.

Entries received after August 15th, 2008 - $225 per team – Please also submit the online entry form to speed up your application and aid our layout planning.

Refund - In the event your team has to cancel from this date, your entry monies will be applied to the next year's event. No refund checks will be issued.

Electrical hookups are available for your cooking apparatus; we only have 15 amp services to the cook sites.
No portable generators allowed.
Water located on grounds
We will pre-allocate a 30x30 space per team. We are planning for one vehicle
(pickup truck, motor home, camper, fifth-wheel, whatever) and a cooker or cooker-trailer in each space. Additional vehicles will need to be parked elsewhere, nearby.

WAIVER of LIABILITY: In consideration of your acceptance of this entry form and fee, I, the undersigned intending to be legally bound, do hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against the Silver Lake Sand Dunes Area Chamber of Commerce, KCBS, and their agents, successors and assigns for any and all injuries suffered to me in this event. I further grant permission to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes Area Chamber of Commerce and/or agents authorized by them to use any photographs, videotapes or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.
